Amount Raised So Far: $173,000

Every eligible bottle or can you donate raises 10c for WWF’s Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund

With this season’s bushfires, it’s been estimated that over 1.25 billion animals have been killed across Australia. Our koala population has been devastated and many other iconic animals like kangaroos, kookaburras, wombats and more have been severely affected. Even after the bushfires pass, it’s going to be difficult for these animals to return to their habitats, as much of their food supply has been impacted.

The good news is that you can help by donating some of your empty drink containers at any TOMRA Recycling Machine (Return and Earn in NSW, Containers for Change in QLD, and TOMRA Coconut Grove in NT). Every eligible container donated raises 10c for our Cans For Koalas appeal and all funds raised go to WWF’s Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund to help Australian wildlife recover and restore their habitat.
